Iridium, Camino de Santiago Norte, Spain

Hiking the northern Pilgrim trail along the Atlantic Coast of Northern Spain one finds a geologic park where a thin layer of Iridium rich rock is found. The rock was formed from ash caused by the meteor strike that eradicated the dinosaur.
